College Application Week 2011

2011 marked the first statewide "College Application and Exploration Week" initiative. Sixty-five high schools and four YMCAs participated in the initiative, which was aimed at encouraging low-income and first-generation students to explore their options for postsecondary education and to apply to the state's two-year and four-year colleges and universities.

College Application Week

College Foundation of West Virginia (CFWV) is proud to coordinate West Virginia's College Application Week initiative as part of the larger national effort coordinated by the United States Department of Education. 2011 marked West Virginia's first statewide College Application Week event, however, the program was piloted in 2010 within schools served by federal "GEAR UP" programs.

College Goal Sunday

College Goal Sunday is a one-day financial aid event to help students and families complete the FAFSA. The event relies on volunteers across the state - which means we need your help!
