Important Updates
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the WV Higher Education Policy
Commission has approved temporary modifications to
qualify for (class of 2020 and class of 2021) and renewal (2019-20)
for WV financial aid programs.
Promise Scholarship Updates
The deadline for West Virginia high school seniors to apply for
Promise Scholarship
has been extended until July 1.
ACT on-campus testing is available for seniors who
have applied for the PROMISE Scholarship. Applicants can qualify
for PROMISE for the fall semester by earning qualifying scores
through on-campus testing by the end of September.
2020 School of Excellence Award
Sissonville High School has been named a recipient of
the 2020 American College Application Campaign's 2020 School of
Excellence Award.
Champion of College Access and Success Awards
Eighteen high schools across West Virginia recognized
for strong efforts to help students plan for college.
College Decision Day
West Virginia high school seniors are taking the next step in
their education through
College Decision Day events.

The class of 2021 can now sign up to receive
college tips and reminders via text message. Students
can also text us at any time for college help, and a college access
advisor will respond.

Value of College
