WV FAFSA Day

West Virginia FAFSA Day is February 1, 2024. This initiative aims to heighten awareness surrounding the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), underscoring its significance for both high school seniors and returning college students. The focal point of this year's event is the unveiling of the #BetterFAFSA that launched in December 2023, representing a transformative shift from previous iterations. Student Success Summit

The 2024 Student Success Summit will be held in July 2024 at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center located in Charleston, WV. The Student Success Summit is a collaborative event focusing on creating seamless and supportive lifelong learning systems for our state's students.

Colleges and universities across West Virginia celebrate successes of first-generation students.

Champion of College Access and Success

Champion of College Access and Success recognition awards were presented to principals, counselors, and staff from 45 high schools across West Virginia for their efforts to inform students of higher education opportunities after graduation.
