Freshman Applicants

You should apply as a freshman candidate if you are currently enrolled in high school or have not enrolled or earned credit at another college or university following high school graduation.

Instructions:
  1. Complete this online application.
  2. Ask your high school guidance counselor to send an official transcript of your high school record to AB.
  3. If you are no longer in high school, you must still ask your former high school to send an official transcript and arrange to have official SAT I/ACT scores sent to our office. If you completed a GED, official scores must be sent to AB.

Transfer Applicants

You should apply as a transfer candidate if you have ever enrolled in a college or university following high school graduation. (Coursework taken during the summer after high school graduation does not apply.)

Instructions:
  1. Complete this online application.
  2. Have your official transcript(s) sent directly to AB from the registrar of each college you have attended. A transcript marked "issued to student" is not considered official.

Most transfer applicants do not need to submit SAT I or ACT scores, although they are always welcomed as an extra credential. Official scores, however, should be sent if you have been enrolled in a program of study and have not completed 29 semester hours of college transfer work.

In addition, the Admissions Office may request scores of any transfer candidate when this information is helpful reaching an admission decision.

You should apply as a nondegree candidate if you do not desire to work toward a degree.

Instructions:
  1. Complete this online application.
  2. Have your official transcript or GED scores sent directly to AB.

Have your official transcript(s) sent directly to AB from the registrar from each college you have attended. A transcript marked "issued to student" is not considered official.
