Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You don't favor either candidate.

You decide to report on the debate without letting any beliefs of your own influence your speech. This is a difficult task.

Analyzing means reporting what each candidate says, then using your research to decide if their points are valid. You've done your homework. Although you want to vote for Bob, you don't think that his reasoning on this issue is valid. If you don't mention this, you will probably influence thousands of viewers to believe in something you don't.

Michael Edelman says he has been in positions where he had to "fashion an opinion." However, he also says he would not take any position that would compromise any of his own political beliefs.

You write an honest analysis and say that Bob may not have all the facts.
