Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You send in an estimate for the yarn so that you're not tied to a strict pattern.

You begin to weave and find that it is turning out beautifully. As you weave, you see that you can add gold threads to the instruments to make them stand out better. Perhaps you will even add another instrument.

But be careful! Gold thread is very expensive, and you could end up over your budget in a hurry.

"Weavers have to make so many decisions," says Frances Schultz, a weaver. "You have to choose the kind of design you want to make. If you are doing a tapestry weaving, you have to create the pattern. Then as you weave, you make small decisions to make the pattern work, such as how to create the right perspective."
