Real-Life Decision Making

One of the kids on your ward is having a fit. Although usually a very well-behaved individual, John is very upset. It all started while an employee was giving John a bath. Apparently, the employee got soap in John's eyes.

In an attempt to get out of the bath, John hit the student across the mouth. He then fled through the ward and into the staff office, where he proceeded to break coffee cups and scatter paper all over the place.

After several minutes of panic -- John is a very strong kid -- you and your staff decide to put a stop to John's tantrum. What do you do?
