Real-Life Decision Making

Wanda comes into your Chinese medicine clinic. She looks pale and listless. She tells you that she is having trouble sleeping, has mysterious aches and pains, and generally doesn't seem to be feeling well.

Instead of going to a Western doctor, Wanda has been taking many over-the-counter medicines to try and alleviate her pain. Finding that nothing works, she has come to see you, hoping you can make her feel better.

Through acupuncture, you discover that Wanda's chi is severely blocked. As you assess the patient, her background, diet and sleeping patterns, you find that her overall health is not in balance.

Even more worrying, you detect a lump under her arm and strongly suspect that Wanda may have developed cancer.

Wanda has come to you in search of holistic healing. You want to help her, but you also realize that she has come to you with cancer.

What do you do?
