Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You go with Michael, the lesser-skilled actor but the nicer person.

This is the real-life decision Christopher Gaze would have made in a similar situation. "You have to get the best actor possible," says Gaze. "But there are other things that can influence your decision.

"The person has to be passionate about the play," he says. Passion for the play comes across on the stage. If a person is going to be acting the same part over and over again, he had better enjoy doing it.

"You really have to think about how a person will fit in with the rest of the cast, otherwise you could really be asking for trouble," says Gaze. "You want someone who is likeable and easy to get along with."
