Real-Life Decision Making

You're near the end of a car-counting stint at a national park -- it's Friday and you've had just about enough of it.

Monitoring the highway traffic running through the park is boring, and you're sorely tempted not to stick out your last day. But no -- it just wouldn't be responsible to take a few hours off to hike through the park, and the material you collect is part of a human impact study.

It's tempting though. You've been a good soldier and stuck out the post for most of the week. And the figures are the same every day. Why not hit the trails?

You sit down at your lookout point and begin to mark down passing cars. Soon after you begin marking, you realize the traffic is right on track again -- no change over the last four days. No surprise.

What are you going to do?
