Real-Life Decision Making

You're working on the set of a made-for-TV movie about the Old West. Part of your job is to catch continuity errors. That means you're looking for things in scenes that are inconsistent.

Rain has delayed the film shoot, so the entire crew is working fast to catch up. Everything will need to run smoothly to get back on schedule.

A scene is being filmed in front of a saloon. The hero is going to hop on his horse and ride away.

One of the extras in the background is wearing a black cowboy hat. You remember that in the previous scene, he was wearing a white cowboy hat.

The extra will only appear for a brief moment in the finished film. You're not sure if you should bother the director with it. After all, the film shoot is behind schedule and the audience might not even notice the discrepancy.

What do you do?
