Real-Life Decision Making

Wedding planning is all about decisions. Not only will you be responsible for the results of your own decisions, but the choices others make may reflect on you as well. How would a wedding guest know which parts you handled and which you didn't?

Wedding consultant Laura Schell has an example.

"I had a florist who promised free pew bows for the bride with her flower order -- which is another story of negotiation. I hadn't helped them with the contract for this vendor because I was just the day coordinator. I had arrived at the ceremony site to find that the florist had strung a cheap floral ribbon in between the chairs on the aisle, all bent, twisted, cut and pinned. It looked awful."

This was clearly not the fault of the consultant. And it seems awfully late to be fixing bows.

What would you do?
