Real-Life Decision Making

Longshore workers work at a fast pace. Their job is to load or unload a ship as fast as possible in order to get it back out to sea. So when longshore workers have to make decisions, they have to do it quickly.

You are a member of a gang unloading a shipment of bananas and other produce from South America. You have been told to report any suspicious activity.

You are quickly but carefully hoisting and moving boxes when you pick up a crate that is heavier than all the rest. The box also has a warning label on it: "Do not open."

You pause for a second and look down at the box again. Just then, the foreman shouts, "Keep moving over there." He's talking to you.

What do you do?
