Telecommunications managers often have to balance innovation with cost, says vice-president of telecommunications Laura Geery-Larson. "If you're going to go with innovation, you have to have the skill set that can manage that innovation," she says. "So, are your training dollars going to cost more than your solution, to get your people up to speed to where they know the technology that you're trying to implement?"
