Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You omit the stubbornness finding in your report to Bob.

You fear that mentioning it might mean the person, with otherwise great character traits, won't get hired.

This may seem like the most compassionate decision to make, but it isn't helpful. Bob hired you tell him what you see in the handwriting. It is unprofessional not to reveal everything you see.

You might consider rephrasing the term stubborn and explain to Bob how it ties in with all the person's other attributes in a positive way. It's important to explain all the information, rather than hide some of it.

"Our job isn't to judge a person," says graphologist Grace Bly. "We don't tell the employer whether they should hire somebody or not. It is up to them to make the decision."
