Aggressive Inline Skater

Real-Life Activities

Real-Life Communication

You're trying to get sponsored so you can get your aggressive inline skating career underway. You meet with one of the top companies, WheelJuice, to see if they'd be interested in sponsoring you. You've heard they are pretty picky about who they sponsor, not just in terms of who can do the best tricks, but also in terms of athletes' attitudes.

WheelJuice has also come under a lot of fire recently for being too corporate for some skaters. They're selling their equipment in large retail chains, for example, and trying to sell more to beginners, not just experts like you. Some skaters feel the company has too much of a mainstream presence.

You honestly don't feel that way, believing that the company has done a lot to increase exposure of the sport. You meet with a couple of the executives at WheelJuice. The meeting is going smoothly when one of them suddenly asks, "Do you think we're too corporate?"
