Real-Life Decision Making

You're designing the set for a new play called Loose Ends. The theater producing the play is struggling financially, so you have a very small budget to work with.

The last scene takes place in a dark, dreary forest. The mood is supposed to be very somber.

You've had large sheets of plywood cut into stylized tree shapes. Now, with the premiere of the play rapidly approaching, the finishing touches are being put on the set.

You've asked the carpenter to paint the trees a dark forest green. When you check up on his progress, you find he's painting them lime green.

"What's this? These have to be dark forest green, like I instructed you," you tell him.

"I know what you said. But we've used up our budget, so I'm using what I have on hand," he replies. "It doesn't look too bad."

You're fuming mad. The mood of the scene is going to be ruined with this ridiculous color, you think to yourself.

What do you do?
