Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

Take it to a judge.

This is the real-life decision Larry Gray has made many times.

"This is a situation that we sometimes run into," explains Gray. "We set the case for a property hearing before a justice of the peace. Both parties are allowed to present evidence and testify. The justice of the peace makes the ruling as to who receives the livestock."

When there is no evidence to favor either party, Gray says he has seen cases where the judge orders the livestock sold and the proceeds split between the two "supposed" owners.
