Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You put the rock 'n' roll group in your proposal.

You go to your supervisor's office and find him there with your manager. You will have to present your proposal to both men.

To impress your boss, you deliberately emphasize the new rock 'n' roll band you found, even though you don't think they were that good.

You play a video clip of the band's performance from earlier today at the high school, and you continue to praise their music.

Upon the completion of your proposal, your manager stands up and begins pacing the room. He criticizes you and your supervisor for a lack of professionalism.

He liked the folk and jazz band, but he is disappointed with you and your supervisor for even thinking about having the company invest more than $200,000 in a group with no real talent.

Before he walks out of the room, he turns around and warns your supervisor to pay more attention to his subordinates, and to make sure that they possess the professional judgment that is required for the industry.
