You just got a contract for a silk manufacturer. With the company's 30th anniversary approaching, the advertising team wants to design an aggressive marketing campaign. Part of the campaign deals with the promotion of affirmative action programs.

They want to know the percentage of female employees 30 years ago compared to now.

"Most of us rely on statistics to prove what we're doing is effective," says industrial psychologist Charles Balog. "This is in many ways the core of my field."

You find that there were 105 employees in their office in 1985. Out of those, 74 were female. Some 3,866 out of the 4,560 employees are women now. What is the percentage of women in the office in 1985 and now? How much has it changed over time?
