Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You continue drilling to satisfy your client.

You drill deeper and eventually come across a spring that supplies the household with gallons of water. You know that it is much more than they could possibly use, but at least they are happy.

You finish making the well, and leave the happy customer.

In a few days, Mr. Humphrey calls your office, and this time he's not so pleased. Apparently, his neighbor can't get any water from her well because Mr. Humphrey is now tapping too heavily into the water source. She is angry and threatening legal action.

Be prepared to make decisions daily. In this field, situations will arise that you simply can't predict. "Well technicians do an incredible amount of decision making when facing the unexpected," asserts Bob Lium, project manager of a water well contracting company.
