Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You redo the lettering yourself.

You tell the distributor you appreciate his criticism and offer to redo the lettering. He tells you the lettering work on your last comic book wasn't very good, explaining that he promoted you then because your artwork was very good and he assumed the lettering would get better.

You're hurt and decide to cut your losses and give up on this comic book. There's just no way you can make this distributor like your lettering, so there's no way to get it published.

Scott Chantler is a freelance comic illustrator. He says decision-making skills are incredibly important, especially when it comes to making business decisions.

"Every decision I make affects whether or not I can buy groceries the following week," he says. "I have to wear a lot of hats and make a lot of important decisions every day about a lot of different things."
