Best-selling novelist Winnie Writer will present a workshop, Writing Your Way to Success, at the Conference Center in Anywhere, Anyplace, on Saturday, May 15.

Sponsored by Biblio Bookstore, the workshop offers a step-by-step look at what it takes to build a successful career as an author.

The registration fee is $40, which includes lunch. The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Ms. Writer's recent release, The Writer's Way, is her ninth book. Currently, she has three new books under contract.

Her workshop will show new writers how to find the tools they need to build a professional writing career.

Film publicist Bram Eisenthal agrees written communication is essential. "Almost every day, I must write something: memos to producers or crewmembers, letters to media thanking them for their help, or exhaustive production notes all about the making of the movie I am working on. Without the ability to write and communicate well, I would not have a job in this business."
